Luego Mike Shinoda decidió contratar a un vocalista, y se contacto con Chester Bennington quien fué integrado rapidamente a la banda. Live Like A Suicide (también conocido como "Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide"
, es el primer LP de la banda de hard rock estadounidense, Guns N' Roses. Fue producido independientemente bajo su propio sello, UZI Suicide. Nótese que no contaban con apoyo de un manager, y recibieron varias amenazas legales durante su proceso.
Sin embargo, la banda recibe un éxito importante para su reconocimiento.
En abril de 1987 Tom Zutaut, ejecutivo de la casa discográfica Geffen, escucha una demostracióndel LP y decide ficharles para su compañía. Los Guns N' Roses firmaron el contrato el 26 de marzo de 1986 con Geffen Records, el sello discográfico de David Geffen un amigo de la familia de Slash. Alan Niven que había trabajado con Great White pasa a ser su nuevo mánager.
Vendió solo 10.000 copias.
